Is it ironic that...

I had given an opinion on reading vs. hearing Shakespeare's works saying I like lingering over the written words. I also was reading the poetry of e.e. cummings earlier this evening. I went to a website and found an award given to a boy of someone whom I care for. The article explained that poetry is not just meant to be written, but instead,to be heard. The article also mentioned Shakespeare. So there is Shakespeare, poetry, written vs. listening, surprise of an award, all within the same evening.
