Is it ironic that...

When i write a story about a lost chapter of Odysseus where he goes back from Hades to Circe's island, and in a moment of despair (in a huge storm on a ship), he says, "Son of Kronos, Zeus, why have you forsaken me?" as to quote Matthew 27:46 "About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, "Eli, Eli,[a] lema sabachthani?" (which means "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?")" ? IS it humorous?
