when discussing how the North American Red Bellied Snake is often called by the name of the deadly Australian Red Bellied Black Snake, it was brought up that a second North American reptile, the Five Lined Skink, is also called by the name of a different creature, the genuine Blue Tailed Skink, a lizard that is also native to Australia.
