Is it ironic that...

Sarah won a Justin Bieber concert ticket from her local radio station. This ticket gave her assess to an exclusive VIP concert seat. Immediately after Sarah won the tickets, she became ecstatic! She pictured herself in the finest clothes, being driven in a limousine, with everyone whispering about how beautiful she was. She would be the most popular and beautiful girl of the evening. The evening of the concert would be the best time of her life! Sarah told her mother about the ticket and asked for a new outfit and limousine service for the concert. When Sarah's mother learned that she had won a single ticket, Sarah's mother suggested that Sarah wear some of the beautiful clothes that she already owned and sell the VIP ticket. The profit would allow Sarah to buy two front row tickets that she and her best friend Lauren could enjoy. Sarah's mother also suggested that instead of renting a limousine, Lauren's mother could drive the girls to the concert. Convinced that her mother did not understand the importance of the evening, Sarah rejected her mother's suggestions and asked again for a new outfit and a limousine to drive her to and from the concert. Sarah insisted on buying clothes that her mother could not afford. She did not care that her mother could not afford the clothes because this was going to be the best time of her life! On the night of the concert, Sarah's limousine driver was a very old woman who only allowed soft classical music to be played in her limousine. Sarah's VIP section was so exclusive that she was the only person in it and the driver was in such a rush to get home that drove Sarah home directly after Justin's last song. No one saw Sarah's outfit. The night did not turn out the way Sarah had intended. To make matters worse, her mother had to get an evening job to pay off the debt of Sarah's new outfit and limousine service. Now, Sarah will be stuck in the house with her older brother, who teases and annoys her, every evening, for the next 10 months.
