Is it ironic that...

Is is ironic that recently I was stopped from stating my thoughts about someone being appointed to a Committee because a Board Member cut me off by calling for the question. I was cut off because I was going to object the appointment. Had I been allowed to speak I was going to suggest circumstances under which this person might be acceptable. The person was rejected as a committee member and I was told later the person that cut me off thought she had the votes to have the person appointed to the committee.
