Is it ironic that...

Your narcissistic sister refuses to answer any questions or discuss various topics you ask her about (say, her plans for a holiday break, etc)... she will only talk about her OWN chosen subjects of interest. Repeated attempts to initiate communication on any other subjects with her are completely ignored; she just doesn't bother to answer you at all. She only will discuss topics she raises and won't listen to or respond to subjects or any questions you raise. You are tired of being ignored and tell her she contact you when she's ready to discuss something of interest to YOU, and not just her. She answers back that she will talk about what you want, but only if you will assure her she will be "listened to" and "cared about."
