Is it ironic that...

the people who complain the loudest that public schools are failing and aren't doing enough for the students, claiming lack of current curriculum information and needing updated textbooks; poor building conditions; and overcrowding (due to population growth) are the first to vote against any taxes dedicated to fixing these exact situations that came about because of drastic budget cuts to education in the past by the very politicians that many of them voted for multiple times?
