Is it ironic that...

the world mourns and displays sympathy for the victims in the tragic event in Orlando, Florida involving hundreds at a gay bar, but there has not been/never been a similar display of sympathy for the thousands/millions of Christians/Jews being/having been persecuted/slaughtered on a daily/throughout history basis in the world today/past years? i.e. (Coptic Christians in Iraq, Egypt, Libya etc)
