Is it ironic that...

I'm in a quandary about telling my best friend that I'm bisexual. A bisexual friend who is married and completely in the closet, terrified that his wife will discover he is attracted to men, is trying to give me advice that I should trust that my friend will be accepting. Ironic or not?
