Is it ironic that...

I recently viewed a picture on Facebook of an electronic (artificial) drum machine sitting on top of an actual REAL (organic) snare drum, with the person's finger pressing on the key pads of the drum machine when they could've just removed it and started banging on the real drum underneath instead. I think it's pretty ironic.. is it?
