Is it ironic that...

I met a love interest a few weeks ago who told me yesterday, "No matter how this turns out, we will always always be friends...what you give me is mental and that is so special." We got seperated at a music festival,only approximately 250,000 people attending,and my phone died. Being programmed by name in my phone, I did not know his number so and couldn't use another's phone to find him. he tells me our friendship is done!! I apologized and am sincerely sorry! He stated, "it no longer matters. You can come get your things, but the friendship is done!", I found this ironic!!
