Is it ironic that...

While sitting at a poker table in a casino the dealer advised me I was not allowed to wear my hoodie the way i was. After putting the hood down I then texted a friend about this rule that i was not aware of. The dealer then asked me to put my phone away at the table as I was not allowed to use it while sitting at the table. Is it ironic that I was advising someone about a rule only to find I was breaking another rule?
